    Re: weathertech floor liners

I have owned several sets of the WeatherTech rubber floor mats and have always been quite satisfied with my purchases. Very durable and has saved me much time in cleaning up my interior space. Recommended these to all of my customers as well. Everyone that purchased always thanked me later. Considered the floor liners but never pulled the trigger on them as I was always unsure how closely they would fit/match the floor pattern.

as you can see, the liners fit like a glove. notice they even cover/protect the sill plate. you pay a bit more for them, but well worth it!

i like how he lip of the mat covers the door sill and allows you to just sweep the mat clean without totally removing the mat.

    Re: weathertech floor liners

Really the only good aspects of the Weathertech product are; made in the States, absolutely perfect fit and an awful lot of crud can be contained in the mats.

But the mats are paper thin, scratch and scuff easily (we put the oem carpet mats back in over the Weathertechs to both hide and stop the wear) and are way way overpriced.

The first impression when I took them out of the box and held them was that I really got screwed.....after a year or so I am certain that I did get screwed.

    Re: weathertech floor liners

We, my wife and I have bought several Weathertech mats and floor liners in the past. They were not paper thin, nor did ours scuff up. I am a fairly large,230 pounds and were anything from steel toe boots to my favorite sneakers-Nike.
Now, I recently bought a Ford Taurus, Weathertech didn`t have a trunk liner so I took a change at AutoAnything and bought Loyds. They stunk, and were nothing more than cheap plastic that had been cut out of a big sheet of the stuff, no lip around the edge. I called and returned the.
I bought a Husky trunk liner, and gen-u-wine Ford rubber mats . They look pretty good and I got a deal from the dealer.

Their digifit line is great. I have them in both my cars. A friend put some in a Saab SUV and they did not seem to fit as great as the in my car. I have been using weather tech for 10+ years, only floor mats I buy. The trunk liners are also great for hauling dirty items.

    Re: weathertech floor liners

I`ve had both Husky and WeatherTech. The Husky`s fit better in my car than the W-T`s. The Husky`s extend farther toward the front and cover the dead pedal area. The W-T`s do not.
I`ve had W-T`s since they came out and in 6 different cars. Everyone set of them scuffed, including the trunk liners.

Anyone here try the WeatherTech cleaner and protectant? Expensive, but if it works, why not?

I love it when I get a detail job and they have WT mats. The carpets are always in great shape.
