I`ve been so busy its been at least a month since I`ve washed the wifes 740. I`m thinking it could be another 3 weeks before I get to it.

Usually one a month at the local laser wash. Just to get all the salt off the truck.

I will try to do it once a week if possible. I will use ONR, but I still have to do it outside, so as I said, if possible.

Once a week, as usual, just because I can`t stand the gunk that builds up on the tires and rims, and lower body panels....

[QUOTE=Luster;23002]During the spring, summer and fall seasons, most of us keep our daily drivers pretty clean!

But here comes winter (Hey Florida guys, I`m not talking to you!!!)

    Bill,
I find it hardest to get my mind around the fact that all of my life I have looked at winter the same way most northerners do, bad weather. Now I have to look at it like, "Great, winter is coming and I can get outside more often". It is so hot and humid most of the year it makes being outside miserable. And for all those people thinking how bad winter is, you can at least bundle up to go outside. Down here, you can only take off so many pieces of clothing before the neighbors complain or laugh themselves to death.
I can now go out and spend some real time working on my car, trying out some of the new products we are looking at, (hint, hint).
We are considering some interesting ideas to help everyone pass the time of winter. Stay tuned.

I give my car a quick spray down with water onlyto get the big stuff off, then give it an ONR wash in the garage with the portable kerosene heater cranking. It`s not too bad that way.

Bill, I try to wash my Tacoma every Saturday. During winter, only when it`s sunny and warm............

Which is still every Saturday

Once the temp starts staying below freezing during the day, it will be late March or April before I can wash it again. Also, all the outside spigots are winterized. If you use the local carwash, your whole car is iced over till the sun can melt it off. ( Experience speaking!!)
