    Orlando local vette show

Just got home from Orlando and figured i would post some pictures from a local corvette club show.Since Luster is a big corvette fan and i own one also what the heck.My son lives in Orlando and goes to UCF and we haven`t been up to see him in a couple of months. While we were up there i gave Todd a call too see if he was busy and we made plans on Saturday to take in what we thought was vette fest in Old Town when we got there we found out that we had our weekends wrong and it`s next weekend.Todd came to too the rescue when he said he detailed a vette for a show and we thought it was for vette fest turns out it was for a show just about 15 mins away so we headed over to St cloud and found the show. Here are a few pictures.

Can you tell who detailed this hood??

Can you tell who didn`t detail this car it was so bad it really was sad

Very cool coil and Injector covers

He drives this car on the street unreal paint looked awesome

It turned out to be a nice laid back afternoon to bad Angelo wasn`t running on all 8 cylinders yet i`m sure he would of joined us.Hopefully next time. While we were at the show i left a program installing on Todd`s pc wait to you see the new charts and write ups he does now :thumbup:Thanks again Todd

The owner of the Corvette I detailed called and said he won best paint on the C5/C6 class... Thank goodness those Pro-Street`s where not in that class and truthfully I saw a lot of swirl free paint jobs that where just as deserving. In fact Adam and I where shocked by how many swirl free finishes there where; first time I ever saw that at a car show.

I had a great time with `Harelyguy`, thanks for the pics buddy! He is a class act all of the way!

BTW here are a couple pictures of the Vette after I last full polished it, about 3 months ago. Unfortunately it had very light marring in some spots from 3 months of washes from the owner but it is a nice case of the Corvette paint being so hard that it really takes a lot to swirl it back up.

If I feel well to drive then I might show up. Have to ask the Dr. on Friday for permission.

Nice pics! Since the car show season is about to come to an end here (another month)... we have to get out and drive and go to all the shows and cruise nights we can! (January and February here in KC are agonizingly long!)

    Love Vettes. (Ya think?)

Depends on who is writing the check...

For a broad model year, the `53 Vette`s go for around 250-400k.

Because there where so many different engine combinations, body styles, colors, and options, the values of Corvette range drastically from year to year.

For example a blue on tan `63 roadster with a 300 hp/327, powerglide, and no options might go for 25-30k.

A silver `63 Split Window coupe with a 360 hp/327 fuelie motor, with red interior and the fabled `Z06` option could go for 200k or more.

I think price wise the `69 ZL1 Corvettes are the most expensive. There was only two built with all aluminum 427 Can Am motors from the factory. The estimated horsepower was about 620. It would not surprise me if the value on these cars exceeds 1,000,000 although I have no real idea.
