I just bought this car.......

It`s a 2003 Spiral Gray Corvette Convertible. Only 19,000 miles on it and the guy needed money. I got a great deal on the car, primarily because I used the word "Cash!!!"

What`s killing me is that I won`t have the car for a week or so. He just moved here from Florida, paid off the Corvette, and now he`s waiting for the title in the mail....

It is in remarkably good shape, no rock chips, etc., but it is in need of an EXTREME Luster Detail!!!

I can easily see 20 hours...

Wheels off, wheel wells, engine, interior, clay, paint correction.... yeah, 20 hours should do it!

You are right, that Trans Am looks spotless (and only 14k miles, sheesh).

I know you have a Grand Prix as a daily driver, and another red Trans Am, IIRC. It must be sweet having two "nice weather" Corvettes!

I sold the Red T/A when I bought the GTP. Well, I worked at my job for 32 years and saved a lot of money during that time, didn`t take many vacations, etc., so I guess I can reap the rewards now!:biggrin:

Well, you certainly had the right idea! Save the money for retirement and spend it on things that you wouldn`t have had the time to enjoy when you were working. :biggrin:

20,500 huh... i have 19,000 cash........just kidding, congrats on the new toy. the c5 will handle way better than the c3 but it won`t turn as many heads

You`re right! I`ll probably drive the "Shark" and my wife will drive the C5. I still like the Shark better!
