300k car from the factory and it looks like this... :(

This car has not been touched (until I fixed it) since leaving the gates in Italy. I know because I pulled the plastics off of it...

    Swirls? Check, and every where.

Holograms? Check, on the hood and rear fenders...

Scratches? Check, just about every where.

DA Sanding Marks!?!?!? Check, I had to wetsand 4 spots (large spots) to get them out.

This is a 300k Ferrari Scuderia and this is how it left the gates...

Wow, Todd... you really get some challenges!

If I remember correctly, you stated that Ferrari paint is very thin....

Good luck... waiting for the "after" pics!:cornut:

I stopped at a Ferrari dealership the other day just to take a quick look at what was on the showroom floor. They had a Scuderia on the floor and the first thing that I noticed was the badge on the frount fender was total crooked. I also noticed several other minor paint issues on some of the other models. Worst of all some on just took a 599 for a test drive and the frount clip was peppered with love bugs. I told on of the salesmen they might want to get the love bugs off not to etch the paint. He told me they will probaly wash down the next day. I wonder how hard it is to get a job in Ferrari QC dept?
