Yes I believe you got your point across.

If someone is worried about rock chips what is more effective than a Bra and a lot saver is do not tail gate.

Most rock chips accrue when you are too close only problem I have is when I leave a reasonable distance between me and the vehicle ahead some Jackass will pull in their

You mean people rob you of your safe following distance there too? I hate that. I wonder what would happen to the paint under a vinyl bra if the owner would remove it and wash it every time he/she washes the car so that the dirt doesn`t build up underneath it and act as sandpaper.?..

    Re: front end masks

I`ll be getting my car`s front end protected with 3M Clear Bra in the next few months. It`s a bit pricey but sometimes you gotta pay to play.

I don`t personally suggest front end masks, but when the car is prepped properly and maintained regularly, they do the job.

It takes practice but after a while you can do it with one hand tied behind your back

    Re: front end masks

I have one for my IS350. I put it on when I know I`m going on a long trip. Before I put it on, I always QD the front (since my vehicles are perpetually waxed.) and I never leave it on for more than a few days. Proper maintenance is the key. I`ve had it for over two years and I haven`t had any issues whatsoever with it.

And yes, I was the bra after every time I use it to prevent dirt build up.
