    Re: Lowered the Mustang PICS

Much, much better. Makes you wonder why they come so high from the factory. My WRX is the same way. No lowering for me tho.

I Just did my suspension in my 2000 GT Vert this past spring. Springs/Shocks/Struts/Subframes/Upper & Lower Control arms, and a complete Prothane urethane bushings kit!

Its absolutly amazing the difference over stock! Well worth every penny I spent!
I went with the Eibach Pro Kit Springs, Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Shocks/Struts, BMR Panhard Bar and Upper Panhard Support. I will be getting the BMR lower control arms and upper control arm at some point later down the road.. along with a one piece aluminum driveshaft. I am waiting now for some underhood goodies. Power wise and dressup wise. Here is a picture of under the hood with a few of the recent mods i have done.

1st - Thank you for dropping your car `correctly`. None of this cut spring garbage or just springs, no camber kit/shocks, etc.

2nd - WOW! That car looks amazing! Any plans further?

    WOW!

WOW! I just can`t stop lookin` at it. That, my friend, is one xxxxxin` Mustang! The chrome rims compliment that color perfectly. It`s amazing how a car can look 200% better with a drop on it.

How does it ride/drive now compared to stock, stock seems to have a floaty feeling.

A few small things planned that will happen sometime in the near future and then a few bog things planned for next year hoepfully. I have now run out of money that i had saved up for doing all this to the car so I have to build the pigggy bank back up.

It rides so much nicer. Before the car would hit a bump and go th-th-thump and nopw it simply goes thump and that is the end of it. I currently have the shocks/struts set at 5 full turns from hard and there is a lot of adjustment left in them to softne it up more if i want but right now I am real happy with how it rides.

And thank you everyone for all the kind words.

Very nice. well proportioned. Not too many of these style mustangs are being modified to my liking. Either the wheels are too small or way too big & not lowered to a good height. This mustang has a nice stance & very well balanced. Good job.
