Nice Pics! Nice close-up of the PCCB`s!!
The black one will look similar, but also have the Aero Kit to make it more sport looking.
I`ll look up the Pink Wax as well and thanks!

Deanski

Deanski here is a link for finish kare, half way down the pg you will find the Pink Wax.
I see.... How good is this product(s)? Looks like all kinds of sealants and "high temp" wax etc. Interesting.
How`d someone stumble on this stuff?
I`ll have to see how well it stands up to current products such as Zaino, EX-P, Kasse etc on the sealant side and Souveran or Natty Blue on the wax side.
I wish April/May would get here sooner! I`m dying to get this car! It`s goning to be one sweet ride!
I`ll have to go to the dealer one nice day and take another out for a fix until this car is here!
First CD to be played in the new car: Sammy Hagar: "I can`t drive...55!" is so fitting!!!
Thanks and I`ll look into the wax/sealants!

i thought the the porsche had two options for brakes
the regular stock ceramic with regular sport rotors
and the upgrade was the carbon pads and rotors, if you paid more for the brakes i thought the only option was this? am i wrong?
yeah your going to love that car and the 997 has classic modern porsche styling
yeah your go to like it......congrats
A BLACK 997 CARRERA S,...............SWEET. CONGRATS. What a beautiful car,... ESP with those options you got on it.
Stock brakes: Steel rotors and semi-metalic pads, calipers: Red
PCCB: Ceramic Composite rotors and pads, calipers: Yellow
That`s how to spot PCCB`s!
Black is so nice looking with that Aero Kit!!

I did not get the X51 option which is the power kit at $16K! hmy: As it only adds a bit more HP/torque. Nice though, new intake, carbon fiber air box, reworked heads, headers but at $16K they are nuts!
I was going to change the dials in the car to yellow, but it may look too extreme!
So far, I`m also looking into a new film 3M has called Aerospace type film which is clearer than standard "Scotchcal" type and less orange peel looking.
Check this out: Clear Film install on 997 C2S
Looks as if I`ll reorder some fresh Zaino!

Deanski,
How about some pictures?

bump on the fk1 stuff! If your looking really deep and wet then top the pink wax (if you use it) with nattys blue or souveran. #425 qd is a must and you might want to try (you can get samples from fk1) the fx-100 spray glaze/sealant. ITs like ocw but I think it looks a touch better.
I think I know what polish you will be using haha.

Nice ride! I have a 996 TT, don`t be surprised if you have to put in a quart of oil every 600 miles of driving.
Wow, who would of though that would be normal.Originally Posted by p_dubs

Here`s some pics of a black 997 C2S with the Aero Kit. Wheels are painted black and it has standard brakes, not the PCCB`s. This is killing me!

Aweosme I love the rims
Although those pics are close to what I ordered, I have the PCCB`s, Sport Exhaust, standard 19" C2S wheels with color crest centers.
Those pics were taken by another member of another forum, but I HAD to share these!
Production starts in Feb!
The wait is killing me!!!

I feel for ya! You should ask them to leave the white protection film on there. I would grab some for the front too.
