    Low Profile Car Ramps....

I really need to buy some ramps for oil changes and undercarriage detailing. Seems like a better alternative than the floor jack and jackstands....

I have looked at Rhino Ramps at Advance Auto, but both the Grand Prix and the Firebird are very low in the front & I`m sure the front facia/air dam won`t clear. (GP has been lowered 2")...

Any suggestions on some nice, lightweight, low profile ramps?

What I do is put a short piece of 2x4 lumber in front of each ramp. These only need to be a few inches long and it gives my car enough of a lift before it gets to the ramp to not cause a problem.

As they say, your milage may vary.
The 80/20 rule applies to detailing.

    Thanks guys....

I didn`t want to pay a lot of money for "Race Ramps" that the Corvette guys buy at $200 a set.

You`re ideas are much better... why? BECAUSE I`M CHEAP !!!!

Hey Luster...greetings from across State Line!

Here`s a link to a set you can build. Mustang World has the instructions and they work excellent.
