DMV Inspection checklist

What do DMV look for during inspection, cause I have a broken door handle from the inside and a missing grille. Does any of these count during inspection?

Well I don`t believe it does in NY, but without knowing which state you are in will make it a little difficult to get the proper answer.

Another reason for location,location,location :whistling

They would get you for the interior door handle in Utah. Got to be able to get out in an emergency.
