    Extremely bad rims!

I bought a 99 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 V8 about 2 months ago. Well I found out the car was a 1 owner Jeep from West Virginia. There was a lot of rust underneath, but overall the Jeep is in great condition minus the salt from the roads and the rust. Well obviously the owner put it through some serious road conditions because 3 of the wheels are extremely bad. I wouldnt call it curb rash because its not so much on the lip but on the actual wheel. It looks as if there were wheel weights all long the outside edge. Its rather hard to explain without pictures, but I dont have access to a camera at the moment, but I had a question. What would it look like if I decided to wetsand the "curb rash"? Now I really dont think the wheels could turn out any worse, but would it make it better?

I doub`t you`ll get any effect by wetsanding them if they are deep chunks/gouges. I beleive there is a how to tech on filling in and repairing the finish in one of the forums. try doing a search
