I have a grey carpet in great condition but I`d prefer it if it were black. Of course I could spend a couple hundred bucks to replace it because I "prefer" black but thats not very logical. So, my question is has anyone dyed a carpet? Can it be done so it doesn`t affect the quality of the carpet or is it simply better to replace? Thanks

I have used the products from http://www.colorbondtuner.com. They are simple spray bottles, not expensive, and the results are good.

However, if you are dying the interior carpet (and not a removable floor mat for example), it could be a bit tricky/messy trying to do a good spray job.

Yeah, it seems that the best thing to do is just replace the carpet. I`d hate to fork over a ton of cash when the carpet is in great condition though.
