Has anyone switched out the plastic shift knob on a 5sp CRV or any Honda? If so how was it done. I`m interested in switching to a leather knob to match a wheelcover. Thanks.

BTW-Wheelskins now make leather shift knobs, but IMO they aren`t as nice as the Momo ones.

CRV, I`ve got a `97 Honda Prelude as the 2nd car and I swapped out the stock shift knob and boot with one from Momo. The MOMO knob is placed on the metal shaft, and then it is tightened by 3 small screws. The shiftknob has a threaded bottom so that a matching MOMO shiftboot can be screwed on from the bottom. Makes for a very clean looking installation. I don`t know how the shifter is for a CRV, but I`m assuming it`s a column shifter right? You probably won`t need a shift boot for it then...
