I have been looking at these rear deck covers for a while, and have been thinking of picking one up.

Custom Rear Deck Cover - most makes and models - PFYC.com

It may look kind of dumb (especially the one in the picture, don`t worry I`ll get one to go with the interior) but the summers here are usually very warm, and most older cars seem to have rear decks that look deteriorated from the sun. I figured that this may be a good option for protection when it`s out in the sun.

Has anyone tried these? I am curious on how good the fitment and materials are.

I am also undecided if I`d go with polycarpet or velour. From the pictures polycarpet looks like a cheap fiber woven material, but I am unsure what a velour would look like. What do you all think is a better one?

Thanks for any help on this

why not just get your rear window tinted? i think it will work better than that cover in a long run
