CF Fabric?

Anyone ever used any of this stuff (it goes by a few names, one of them is Neffy). Have been considering wrapping my center console and a few other places with this stuff since the paint is chipping(GM "quality" ftl). Curious if anyone had any experience with it. I hear the BMW guys are all in love with this stuff.

Was going to do it as well on my Bimmer, I still want to. I`d go for it, I think it was around $30 for 1X1.5 Yards on ebay. You might be able to just get real CF fabric for slightly more, and then coat it with resin. Won`t cost all that much more and it`s real.

and Neffy. Neffy is much thinner, and has more of a higher contrast pattern. The thicker stuff is supposedly more durable, and is 2/3 the price of Neffy when you add shipping. They both look good, and frankly I think that if I didn`t see the Neffy stuff I`d be thrilled with the cheaper stuff. The cheaper stuff looks great when the light hits it, but when there`s no light on it you can`t tell there`s a weave really, though the cheaper stuff offers other colors that are lighter and such.

I think All Cover craft Fabrics are "breathable" to allow good air circulation under the cover. That`s important because it assures that any moisture or condensation under the cover can easily evaporate. Fabric covers also reduce heat build-up on hot days.

Remember, a cover not only protects BOTH the inside and outside of a vehicle, it also acts as a theft-deterrent by keeping the vehicle out of view to potential thieves.

I love this stuff. Works really well, easy to apply, very forgiving and looks like a pro finish when done. Make sure you use the super77 spray glue. Take your time.

I ended up getting the same stuff as Neffy for $25 shipped on ebay. Have been working with it as much as I can. Damn you Saturn for making so many retarded curves in my dashboard areas.

Hi guys We use neffy and di-noc in our shop. The neffy is very flexible and great for those tough interior curves and crevices. The adhesive is key and prep is obviouly too. We use the di-noc for exterior parts as it is very durable and has a nice clean look. We have experimented with using the di-noc with ppf film over it to provide a gloss look with some success. We now have a test piece of the neffy on a motorcycle part which we then clearcoated. It is outside now for a week so we will see what happens.

i would rather just use real CF.
