OK, lemme check and see if I can find the specifics for your unit.

Thanks, Tom, I did not see it the first time, I did not scroll down. :grinno: I downloaded the manual. It only came with quick guide instructions.

I`ll probably wait until the middle of next year to update mine while they finish all the new roads in north Arlington in preparation of the new Cowboy`s stadium.

Has anyone used the security feature on their Garmin? To originally set it, do you have to be in the special place when you enter the PIN ? From then on you only need the pin or be in the special place ? I guess the place does not have to be your home.

    Thanks-PGP

I don`t use it. I guess some folks do.

Yeah, don`t set the secret location at your home or somewhere obvious.

I`m looking at a nuvi 350, which is discontinued; provided the company continues to support it (they say they will), is there a downside to getting an older model?

It was a good seller and is well-reviewed.

gle helle- I would guess out of date maps would be a downside. If the model has the features you want at a good price, it might be worth it? Better than nothing I would guess. The new ones are a good deal now. IMHO

Is there a good on-line store where one can get reasonable accessories for Garmin GPS units? I am thinking of getting an AC power cord, screen saver, case and a vent mount. Ebay comes to mind.

Only down side there are fewer bells and whistles you may or may not want/need. Either then that it`s fine.
