I recently aquired a Scion XA `06. I`d like to replace the map lights etc. with LEDs. Can anyone tell me how to (easily) remove the plastic covers without causing a lot of damage?

    THANKS A BUNCH

Without knowing that car specifically I would say look for a small phillips head screw that holds the cover in place, else it just snaps on.

You will probably have better luck asking on a Scion specific forum, unless you stumble across a Scion owner here who happens to have made mods.

    LED Dome Lights

Give them a call, the owner is cool and is familiar with Scions.

I`m guessing your xA is like my tC with the dome lights. Use a screwdriver (flathead), cover it with a paper towel of something, then insert it in the rear of the cover, a little to the right of the middle, pry down gently, and it`ll pop off. Simple.
