You may want to check out Leather Magic Leather Repair Cleaner Conditioner dye Restoration and Protection Products They have some really great stuff that`s easy to use. I hear that they supply some of the major car makers. They have dealers in UK too!

Steve, a couple of thoughts. You can always have a professional handle the recovery phase. I`ve seen some amazing work done on old leather that made it look nearly new again.

I am not familiar with the products in your link. I am familiar with: http://www.leatherique.com/Jaguar_leather_Care.htm He`s got a very good reputation. Have a look at his "before" and "after" fotos.

Being in the UK, I cannot imagine you would have any issues locating somebody that could hangle proper restoration, if you decide it`s that important.

    Cheers!

After spending forty years of my life as a horseman I have spent countless hours refurbishing leather saddles, riding boots and harness. I have also owned many cars with leather upholstery. I have found that it`s a three step process. I first use saddle soap to get the dirt out of the leather. Secondly I would apply the right color of Kiwi shoe polish. Black for black, brown for brown etc.. Apply then buff of with a soft towel or fibre cloth. I then seal it with mink oil, neetsfoot oil or Belivior. Let it cure for 24-48 hours the buff again with clean dry cloth. Hope this works for you and GL.:ca
