Well, after 1½ years my driver`s window aftermarket power window kit broke. The system uses a metal braid / plastic wrap cable to roll the window up and down and after MUCH use the cable snapped. I don`t know if being more careful at full up and down (making sure not to keep the motor running when reaching full open and closed) would have helped any or not. I removed the broken system and reinstalled my manual cranks in about 1 hour leaving the harness in place. I`m in search of a replacement system as the benefit is a nice feature and if I can get it at the same price as the last one ($65 shipped) then it will be a small price to pay.
