Ford Explorer/Ranger owners plz read!

Anyone out there had problems with their heating/AC ?



After weeks of the AC not working on our `97 XLT some intensive research turned up that Fird fitted the wrong Blender Doors on their vehicles around 96-97 that crack and jam in place.



Remedy is $1000 and alot of hassle.



I have found a shortcut/fix if anyone wants to know ........

There are many blend door threads over there. Sometime`s it`s the actual entire blend door, or sometimes it`s just the actuator.



As an Explorer owner, I`m always interested in fixes for this issue.
