Alright, mirrors are done. Obviously great to get rid of the busted up old ones, but I like the new style way better and the visibility in the mirrors is much better than the old ones

$369 from 1A Auto. Power, heated, turn signals, and pull out for towing. Can`t complain about that. Fit perfect

The mirrors look very nice. Now, can you get it in your garage with the mirrors out? My Pop picked up a new F150. He`s not as steady as he once was but he only has about 2 inches on each side of his mirrors when extended to get in the garage. He pushes the button to retract them to get in and out.
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both

I haven`t tried to pull it in yet with my wife`s Expedition in there. If anything it`ll barely fit with the length. I`m gonna have to pull it in almost touching the wall and even then the garage door is barely going to have room to close. I desperately wish I had another 2 ft. at least in length in my garage. They just make em too darn small

Project quiet has begun. Interior is being gutted. Wouldn`t be able to do it without my little helper

After how many years of working on cars and stereos I finally picked up this cheap set of tools for pulling interior panels.....what a dope. Right tools for the job makes everything so much easier
This is a totally normal thing to do 2 weeks after you buy a vehicle right?

Looks great man!
Are you on DIYMA?
Not actively, but I do browse there from time to time and utilize that site for info when I`m researching stuff. Great site
Floor is foamed. Mass loaded vinyl layer next and then carpet can go back in!

nice work on the truck! what is the purpose of that foam? and how hard was it to strip everything down to the cab??
diesel 6.0 crew!
Wow. Your truck is drop dead gorgeous!!!
Interior was super easy to strip. The foam acts as a "decoupler" between the sheet metal and the MLV. As I understand it, it soaks up vibrations and allows the MLV to kinda float over the metal which allows it to absorb sound better
