How do you guys go about getting the brake dust off your rims? - the baked/embedded in ones. I tried claybar, and it got some off, but some of it is stubborn.

You have not mentioned which wheel cleaners you have tried but if all these have failed try some brake cleaner

I`ve had good luck with both Klasse AIO and (don`t laugh) NuFinish.

It seems that both have a large amount of solvents, which aid in removing embedded brake dust. Keep in mind, that after you remove the brake dust, you may find that it has already etched the paint - meaning that it won`t be possible to return the wheel to a `like new` condition.

An additional benefit of using AIO or NuFinish is that they both leave a protective coat, making future cleanups easier.
