Renting an extractor

Hi all-



I spend a fair amount of time keeping my car (`04 GTI 1.8T) in shape,

but up `til now, I`ve kinda given up on my wife`s minivan. It`s a `99

Toyota Sienna, and the interior is just plain gross. After three kids,

countless juice boxes and soda spills, the carpet is... well... you know.



Bottom line is, I`ve hit my breaking point and I need to get after this biology

experiment with some 303 and an extractor. Since I only typically detail

*my* car, and I keep it pretty clean, I have no desire to *own* an extractor.

But for this project, I know I`ll be frustrated if I don`t use one.



The question is, where could I possibly rent a portable extractor that will

give me the best result? I`m familiar with the brands and models discussed

on this board, but I`m probably not going to have much luck finding the

holy grail of extractors to rent in Durham, NC. Any advice on what I should

be looking for, and where? I realize that few of you probably live anywhere

near Raleigh-Durham, but some general recommendations would be great.



Suggestions? Ideas?

Any Home Depot rents extractors for half day or whole day periods. Make sure you ask for the upolstery tools. That consists of a hand nozzle and all the hoses and tubes.

A local production line detailer has a good extractor and charges $30 to do a Van where I live. I take all the seats out, pre-treat the nasties, then look over their shoulder while they are doing it. If you have a couple rugs in the house that need a once over, renting might be a better choice.
