    I`m the proud new owner of a obsidian black pearl 05 WRX, and I`ve just ordered some Klasse AIO, and P21S wax to go along with my products from last season, but I have a few questions...

    Am I overlooking the importance of my wash mitt by using an OTC shaggy cloth mitt that you can purchase anywhere?

    Are the foam applicator pads for applying polish/wax bad for your paint? Should I be using a microfiber applicator, or simply a microfiber towel?

    For buffing, should I use terrycloth, or a microfiber buffing towel?

    Thanks everyone... take into account that right now I`m doing everything by hand, looking forward to learning and soon upgrading to a PC or rotary by the end of the season.

    Thanks everyone!:::xyxthumbs

    Mitt- Sheepskin only, especially with black!

    Foam- wont hurt your car, use them all the time.

    Buffing- I like MF.
    A day without a scrub busting my chops is like a day w/o sunshine. :grinno:

    with a black car your washing tehnique will be very important in maintaining a new car like finnish. The two bucket method will be minimal, a foam gun or some QEW might be a good investment. Lots of good MF`s are a must.

    I`d go with two sheepskin mitts along with microfiber towels for polishing off product (SMR, AIO, or LSP).

    I`ll second the sheepskin mitts along with the MF. I also love my MF applicator with foam on the other side. The MF makes it so easy to apply AIO and SG. Good luck, great car you`ve purchased!

    Terry cloth is pretty much frowned upon here when it comes to paint work. Stick to using terry for interior cleaning and dirty work. Microfiber will do the trick.

    For applicators, I actually prefer foam. It makes application of an LSP (especially with a paste wax) easier. You should be very satisfied with the results you get from AIO and P21S.

    Yeah, sheepskin, foam, and MF. And I`d seriously consider the foamgun; no way would I wash a black vehicle without one.
