I used QEW for the first time today. I was scared to try it on my GTO so I used it on the 02 black Monte Carlo instead. The car is pretty swirl free because it was the practice car when I got my PC. Anyway, being the first time the whole process took about 30 minutes. I did not see any signs of scratching and felt pretty comfortable towards the end.

I put 2 oz of QEW in 2 gallons of warm water. Then had another 2 gallons to rinse the mits off in. I used 2 mits and a Sonus blue waffle weave. No need for a QD afterwards.

That`s the protectant that QEW leaves behind that rejuveniates the shine of the finish. Wash and wax at the same time.

Pretty good stuff, been using it probably 13 years now.

Once you really get the hang of it you can wash the body of an average sized car in 15 minutes.
