    When using a quick detailer on a *slightly* dusty car, which method do you use? After reading product instructions and many online how-tos I am confused.



    1. wipe down the car with a damp terry cloth or mf towel, rinsing after every panel then use the QD on another towel

    or

    2. just use the QD with a towel, letting it pick up the light dust



    Also, do you prefer a damp or dry towel when using QD?

    I use a plush MF (dry), spray a panel wipe off.

    I assume you`ve seen no scratching or swirl marks when you don`t wipe down beforehand? That is what I am really worried about...
