film removal problems

After I removed the tint flim from my windows there is a glue residue left on the glass. Anyone know how to remove it????

might want to try gu-gone (thinks thats spelling) jus dab it on a rag and work it in, usually takes off sticky film left behind from stickers or tint

Pro-Wax sells a glass cleaner made specifically for removing window tint glue. I think the magic ingredient is ammonia. It softens it so it can be scraped right off. I have also used dilluted APC to soften the glue.

Foaming window cleaner and #0000 steel wool has worked for me in the past, but 3M adhesive remover does a great job too, and it involves less risk of screwing up. You can get it in pretty much any walmart or auto parts store by the auto body section (with bondo, etc).
