I`m picking up an 03 Cobra this weekend, and it has one flaw: stainless steel bumper inserts.

I`m going to black out all the lights and tint the windows as dark as they`ll go for a very black look, and the shiney bumper inserts just won`t jive. The question is how to get them off? I`ve heard I can "saw" them off with dental floss, but I`m sure plenty of double sided tape will remain on the bumper. How can I remove it without damaging the paint?

Dental floss, hair dryer, 3M Wax and Adheisive Remover. Maybe nail polish, lighter fluid, etc. Just test it on the paint first.
