I got my front license late bracket removed, and the bumper repainted and put back on the car. My car is silver and it seems like no one around here can match the Audi silver paint... Needless to say, I am driving around and my bumper is much darker than the rest of the car... I hate it!!!

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY SHOP THAT DOES THIS WELL?

I don`t care where it is. I just need to know if it is possible to get a good match, and who does the best job. Please help.

    Thanks!

I don`t know of any shops in your area, but often the dealer (if they have a *good* body shop) can make a good color match.

The dealer does not have a body shop. I went where they told me to, and they didn`t do a very good job.

    How old is the car?

Is it a question of not reducing the paint that was used on the bumper enough to match the rest of the car (doesn`t blend right)

    or

Is it a question of not using the right paint to begin with?

Go over to Audiworld and post your question either in the "Detailing" forum or the forum for your car (A4/A6 whatever)

The likelyhood of you being the first person needing to get paint matched on an Audi is remote. Someone there might know.

Sonds like you had the holes filled from the license plate holder? I just installed some bumper plugs to save myself the hassle and expense. I did a write up about it in the Car Customizing forum.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

Well, yes, I had to get the bumper re-painted anyways after my wife bumped into something...
