Anyone in the New York City area know of a touchless car wash? I have a DIY place nearby, but sometimes I just don`t have the time.

    thanks!

I can`t help you locate a `touch less` car wash in NYC, but if it helps you to decide which to use between a â€ËœTouch lessâ€â„¢ and a DIY.

â€ËœThochless`-this type of automatic car wash use high-pressure water and strong detergents to clean the road salt /grit /snow /dirt and etc from vehicles, which will also remove the paint protection sealant/wax, also be aware of those that use â€Ëœwheel guidesâ€â„¢ as they will cause scratches / etching to the wheel surfaces and may cause damage to tyre sidewalls.

You will also need to renew the vehicles sealant / wax to ensure paint surface protection on a regular basis to counteract the effects of the harsh detergents.

I`m actually interested in looking for a DIY spot?? Where in NYC is it? Got an address for it?

I actually found this detail spot right across the GWB in NJ. About 15 minutes from Manhatten.

Called AUTOSPA, I can hit you with details if you are interested.

I have recently started using the brushless automatic in my area when its too cold, or if my truck is too nasty I use this b4 the QEW.

It has worked wonders for me. I still get decent beading from my one coat of UPP after 3 months and probably 4 trips thru the auto wash.

Everyone is probably different though, maybe ask a friend to "try" it out first (aka guinea pig...haha)
