    Ok about my car.

it is a 96 explorer and sits outside all the time.

I am looking for something that is going to be easy to use since I have to apply it in the elements outside and also want something that will last a descent amount of time.

From reading on here it sounds like I would like the results of #16 but the ease of use considering I will be doing all my work outside and also that detailing is not something I love doing CMW sounds good.

I think I am leaning to CMW just for the ease of use and that it can be applied in the sun. help me confirm my thoughts or change my mind.

One last question. I will be using #80 also and am curious if it can be used on other parts of the car, such as head lights or maybe even glass to polish and smooth it out or are there too many oils in it.

    Thank you

I am getting decent durability out of both products so for me it comes down to color and appearance preferrence. CMW is better on dark paints because it will deepen the color a bit. You may or may not like that effect on lighter colored paint and if so, #16 would make you happier.

#80 is fine on lights, hard plastics and even glass.

I have both and if I had to pick just one - I would go for the CMW. I do find it slightly more user freindly than the #16, but cant really comment on durability as I cant leave anything alone long.

On light paint both look quite alike the CMW seems to have a deeper wetter look on dark colours tho.

I did the #80, VM and CMW combo (applied with PC, removed by hand) on my car last Sunday, before the week of snow and ice.

Looking at my car today after 500 miles of travel, the CMW is standing up very well - I am impressed and it was also very easy to apply and remove.

BTW, I didn`t use #80 on the glass, I used VM which works really well, can`t comment on using #80 on such surfaces though.

My car too sits outside all day and night.
