How do you recommend removing the carnauba without removing the sealant? (For instance, removing the #16 that you put on top of the AIO / SG to try P21S on top of the AIO / SG)

Just wait until the carnauba disappears or start over?

Spring will be great to experiment with the products I bought this winter (right now my sealant/wax collection includes UPP, WG, SG, EX-P, #16, Natty`s and P21S) so I`d like to try a variety of sealant/wax combos to find a perfect combo on my red + gold pearl integra.

How do you guys confront this dilemma?

If it were me I would make a game plan over the next year to test different combos. Maybe try a different one every 2 months or so til you find what please your eye.

Just wait for the wax to disappear - but how would you know that it`s completely gone everywhere? Unless I`m mistaken, the sealant *should* still be there when the wax is gone. :nixweiss

But if you really want to put that new wax on sooner , strip everything by applying AIO so you can experiment with your sealant and wax topper.

merci made an excellent suggestion on how to evaluate a topper carnuaba over Klasse. Clean surface with AIO and top with testing carnuaba. The appearance of this combo will mimic a AIO/SG because IMO SG adds more in protection than changing the appearance of AIO. When you find the combo you like you can add the SG prior to the chosen carnuaba topper and enjoy your results. This format suggested by merci will also work with testing the results of different toppers on the non-acrylic sealants you have in your inventory with the knowledge that AIO added something to the final appearance equation.
