OK i just got my porter cable and i`m ready to start polishing!! But i have no idea how i`m supposed to go about this using the porter cable. Do i need to practice on something or is it safe enough to just jump in and start polishing? Also, what are the steps i need to take? The car is a 96 and has a few swirl marks. I`ve tried to remove them by hand using paint cleaner with minimal success. Do i start with a clay bar, then polish it and then wax it? What type of applicators are the best to buy? if anyone has a link to what i need to do that would be great!

I`m kinda scared to attempt to use this thing! I have a 96 Mystic Cobra (changes colors) and i don`t want to mess things up.

Its been said on this forum that the only way you could damage a cars paint with a pc is to pick it up and throw it at the car, and thats about right!!!

start off with fine or no cut products and you will soon get confident with the PC and i promise you, you wont look back!!!
