I`m going to detail my RX300 tomorrow and I was wondering if this was ok:

    Wash - Zaino

    Clay - Zaino

    Polish - Meg`s #80

    Wax - NXT

Wax - Mother`s Carnuba Cleaner Wax

I don`t know if NXT should come after Mother`s or I should just get rid of one of the wax`s steps, since both have cleaners in them?

    Thanks.

everything is good ( although you may want to wash after claying ) except the wax - you will have to choose either the NXT or Mothers. Both have cleaners and will remove ( give or take ) the bottom layer. If you can get a wax like #16 or #26 or S100 which has no cleaners, you can layer that on the NXT.

    Hope that helps

It all sounds good except the last two. You need to choose one.

You are quite right - both have cleaners, Mothers has more as its a dedicated cleaner wax.

Mothers is a very good cleaner wax but will remove more of the #80 than the NXT, if that bothers you.

Otherwise, do a side-by-side trial on your hood as see which one looks better to you and go for it!

Which do you think is better - NXT or Mother`s? It`s a Pearl White suv.

There`s a lot more support for NXT on this forum, but as I said, do a side-by-side and *you* decide which looks better.

As far as durability, I suspect Mothers would have the edge, from my experience.
