I just finished using the Shining Monkey kit. I had to remove the Pinnicale Souveran first. I used their Dspec polish it went on easy came off easy and took the old wax off. I then used their glaze it reminds me of #7 only it comes off easier with the same shine. I then used the Carnuba liquid wax went on easy off easy ( didn`t leave a film like Zymol and Malms ) and a brilliant wet shine. To me there was no difference between the Shining Monkey and Pinnicale Souveran or P21S, Surluster ,Zymol,Blackfire ,Menzerna FMJ. I do however think that Zaino has a slight edge.

    My take

    1. Zaino

    2. Shining Monkey,Souveran, Surluster,FMJ

    3. Blackfire,P21S, NXT,Zymol,Malms,Relections by Mothers

Anything else out there I should try?

    How about the Poorboy`s line?

I have been rather impressed with most of their products. In particular EX on black is yummy.

Thanks, But I think I will stick with Zaino. My other post listed everything I have bought and tried in the last year and IMHO nothing compares to Zaino on my car. I just ordered Z2 pro and should have it tomorrow. I think I will take some of the other guys suggestions and sell all my other products and do more prep.

What got my attention was my daughters babysitter walks by my car every day. When I was trying Souvran,P21s,FMJ,Shining Monkey and Suf( one each week ) she would say you car isn`t as shinny as usual , when I got home today she said you know your car is shinny as it used to be! Last Thursday I switched back to Zaino Z5 and a coat of Z2 ( anxiously waiting for Z2 Pro )

I would try Poorboys as it gets great reviews its just I don`t want buy anthing else and possibly be dissapointed. I will trade some of my stuff for poorboys.

You will be happy with the Z2 Pro, it goes on easy, sets up quick, leaves a nice smooth wet finish.IMO it is the best look for my red and black trucks. It is also easy to keep up with. I am sure you will very happy with the Z2! I am looking forward to using in on my 2002 Trailblazer blue two tone hmmmmmm?

dogma: What part of CT are you in? I would be happy to trade some Poorboy`s stuff with you. I have pretty much the entire line.

I too have had success with Zaino. I have Z5x3 and Z2x3 on my Red Integra.

WG sealer is great over Z2 on a light car..... I tried it and it brought the reflectivity up a couple notches. Only drawback is you have a 12 hour cure time, and it cannot get wet.
Prep is everything .. The rest is the window looking in....

    hey dogma,

Is Z2 as it easy to put on and take off as Shining Monkey? I think one of the things Shining MOnkey stressed about their product is their ease of use and leaving no residue...

Did you find any other products that is like Shining monkey?

    Thx.
