So I just bought this for my car

because it was cheaper than buying this one

They are both stainless steel, only the second one is polished to a mirror shine.

How can I achieve this? DACP using the PC?

    Thanks!

You need to use a metal polish and a 3" to 4" wool pad.

to polish aluminum, depending on the shape it is in you want to start with sanding paper and a block. sand up to 1500 grit each time making sure you remove the sanding marks left from the prior grit. after you done wet sanding, move on to the metal polishing compounds, ie tripoli, white. caswell has some pretty decent kits and also a handbook that will walk you through it. if you google "how to polish aluminum" you should find a lot of stuff.

Hmm that site looks awfully interesting for the answer to polishing my mid stainless steel exhaust pipe .I have no idea which product: liquid(?) to use with the PC or rotary, of if not how to polish using one of those sticks
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

Bill, those "sticks" are bars of polishing compound, which would be applied to a polishing buff.

It`s for a MR2. It`s a pair of puller fans. . .given the mid engine design of the MR2, heating can be a bit of a problem. These fans can lower engine tempatures by 20 degrees or so.
