Before anyone asks, I tried the search function, but couldn`t find anyone else dumb enough to ask this question.

Yeah so I`m borrowing my brother`s PC 7336, and I can`t seem to get the backing plate off. :nixweiss I think it`s the backing plate, I can`t unscrew it because all it does is spin, and I tried pulling on it, that doesn`t work either. I`m hoping I can use it tomorrow, if you guys could help an idiot out, I`d appreciate it. FYI, I just got the Sonus pads and my Klasse kit so I want to try them out =D

    Thanks!

    -Mark

Sounds like it is just on there very tightly. Put the wrench on the shaft and pull counter-clockwise on the backing plate.

Any particular reason you are removing it? As long as it`s velcro, it should be alright.

It`s not the velcro one, it`s a plain black metal one. I`ll try that pulling it back and counterclockwise thing real quick, I`m removing it so I can put my yellow velcro one on there :nixweiss
