Hey folks, hate to be so ignorant on products here but I was wondering if S100 is the same as P21S. I wasnt sure if I read it here or in another forum that S100 is P21S but packaged differently? Im interested on using the P21S because I have heard so much about it, however, if its the same as S100, then cool, I can get some locally.

Just wondering, trying to save a little here and there.

    Thank you,

Some say it is, others say it`s not. . . As I`ve only used S100, I wouldn`t offer a comparative opinion. I can tell you that S100 is FANTASTIC for shine and depth (at least on metallic paint). I think that even if there`s some slight difference, I can`t imagine how the more expensive product could produce a better overall result than the S100.

They use to be the same (I got a e mail from the company 2 years ago) but as of the last year suppose of a slight change. Is it enought to warrant a $15 difference between the 2? I don`t think so.If your going to spend your money on P21S don`t , go to Top of the Line and buy Trade Secret instead. In my opinion a much better product

Thank you for all the responses

Im looking for a good product within reasonable pricing. Just wanted to know if the 15 dollar difference was worth taking the plung. I`ll stick with the s100 since I can get it locally, but will take a look at that trade secret product.

Thought I`d throw this in the mix. I emailed P21S about their products and here is the response I received today.

    "Dear Mr. Lucas,

The formulations for P21S and S100 are indeed different, though we do not get into formulation details for proprietary reasons. The two waxes can generally be used interchangeably, but if you wish to tell your customers you are using the number one rated paste wax in the USA (see p21s.com for details of the testing), you can only legally support this claim by using the P21S Formula.

    Kind regards,

    P21S Customer Service"

Here are the pics of S100/P21s:

The applications, the way they melt, and their smells (like butter) are the same to me.
