I`m going to try Souveran on top of my Klasse twins.

Do you guys like to apply Souveran my hand or PC?

And can I use Z6 QD on top of a caranuba?

I heard applying waxes by hand attracts less dust than appling by machine. Here is a link to a post where someone applied souveran with a finishing pad with a pc.http://www.autopia.org/forums/showth...146#post405146

Souveran over Klasse is SUPERB. You might be better off QDing with Pinnacle Crystal Mist as it also contains carnuba.

Please keep in mind I have no experience with Zaino, your idea might work, but .....

Same as Gonzo said. I`d use the crystal mist over the souveran, it adds a whole new dimension...

By the time you break out the machine, attach a backing plate and pad, plug in the ext cord, etc, etc., you can have 1/2 your car done by hand. Applying a top quality carnauba is so easy and fun, you can slap on a coat at any time. Skip the machine.

Skip the Z6 too. It works best within the Zaino system. You can use pretty much any decent QD with Souveran.

Use it by hand. It goes on so easy, like Bret said, it just isn`t worth getting out the buffer for.

I use Quikshine over Souveran with excellent results.

Totally agree. I actually dread pulling out my PC. Such a PITA. Working by hand is so much easier.

As for Souveran, I used this wax a couple of weeks ago by hand. Let me tell you, this stuff is like butter!!! I love it! Very easy on and off. No need to use a PC. Looks great over WG on my green car.

I find when i apply LSP by hand a couple of things,

    - I use a less

    - I get a more even application

    - and as everyone has pointed out, it`s more enjoyable.

Try those microfinger pads if you haven`t yet, very gentle on the finish.

OK guys!!:xyxthumbs I`m gonna try the Souveran as a finish topper! You`ve all convinced me.

I have three cars, My black Grand National, which is a no brainer, It`ll look awesome i`m sure.

But how about Souveran on white and metallic silver?

Will it bring out a noticeable difference or would it just be a waste of an expensive product?

    Thanks again

    Hey Intercooled,

I use Z6 QD on top of my S100 on my GN with great results. So to answer that part of the question, yes you can use that on top of carnuba...works for me!

    Hey Bill87GN,

    Have you ever used Zaino?

If so what looked better on your GN Zaino or a caranuba?
