I`ve noticed a few recent threads about little stone chips on the edge of hoods. What about using one of the <shiver> colored waxes that have been around for awhile? Seems that if I were to really clean the leading edge of all wax, Qtips and alcohol, then apply a coat of black wax, buff, then a couple of coats of #16 all should be good with the world! Has anyone tried such a process?

I just use a black marker for that stuff. No blob of touch-up paint!
