I have been working hard tobecome a FT detailer, trying to do all the right things when it comes to promotion. I average 2-3 cars a week but I hope to see myself doing a car everyday or 2. What time frame can this happen in?

It takes about a year to get really established if you work hard. Once you get your name out and word gets around that you do good work, you stay pretty busy.

Actually you are never done. The reason I say this is the fact there are new detailers opening up all the time. Your customers must be really loyal to you. If the guy down the street is $10. 00 cheaper there is a good chance that at least one time your customer will try them.

Good point, but when you are mobile, that is less likely to happen because you develop a pretty good relationship with your customers....and most use a mobile detailer for the convienence, so a fixed location is not very attractive to them.

Best defense though is to be the best detailer possible and keep on top of anything new that comes along.
