I want to start over on my car after several coats of Zaino, what is the best method for getting the car back to the basic clearcoat and starting over?
Iso/ Alcohol?
Dawn wash??
What is the best product for this and how do you use?

Dawn doesn`t do much to Zaino. IPA or Prepsol will take off anything, though.
If you`re planning on polishing your paint, that too will take off Zaino.
There are only three things you need to know about me. Gloss, Gloss, GLOSS!!
Where do I find Prepsol?
"I think my blood is a Carnauba Prototype"
For Prepsol, check out auto paint/body supply places, they`ll have it or something similar (Pre-Kleano comes to mind).
Two suggestions that will provide a "clean slate":
A 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
einszett Acrysol removes acrylic-based waxes, silicone, carnauba wax, grease, oil, polishes, adhesive residues, road grime, underseal and tar without residue.
I found some at Pepboys on 153. I don`t think it was exactly prep-sol.....but it does the same thing. I`ve used it with good results.

what about claying wont clay remove the wax
Not if you`re claying right (i.e., gently). I spot clay with every wash, and it doesn`t seem to remove an appreciable amount of my LSP. Some products like KSG get clayed dozens of times without needing redone, but again, I`m *VERY* gentle about it.
A friend who use Zaino tells me that even fairly "rough" claying only seems to remove about 1/2 of a layer of Zaino.
