Ok, I was planning on getting this:

    http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit

    http://autopia-carcare.com/kus-kla-10.html

    Klasse ALL-IN-ONE, 10 oz.

From what I understand so far:

    1. Wash my truck with dawn

    2. Clay bar the whole truck

    3. Use the Zaino wash

    4. AIO

Then after the AIO I`m simply confused. Can I use a wax after the final coat of the zaino to produce a better shine?

    Thanks, Rob

Use the Z after AIO...I think you can use wax after Z.

Why mix AIO and Z? Just use the AIO and some SG.

    Welcome to Autopia :wavey

You can do a number of things. Both Klasse and Zaino are great products. Some people here are using Klasse AIO followed by Zaino with great success.

Are you planning on doing any polishing or swirl mark removal ? This will add another step or so to your process and would be done before step 4.

    Couple of examples:

    4. AIO

    5. SG

    6. Some carnuba wax

    4. AIO

    5. Z2 or Z5 mixed with ZFX

    6. Some carnuba wax

I have already removed all the swirl marks due to my last all day marathon of detailing.

After AIO, apply Z2 or Z5 as you wish. No more than 3 coats a day using ZFX, and I wouldn`t worry about more than 6 coats total.

If I were to use AIO and SG, I would have to apply wax every 2 weeks or so?

    Wouldn`t it evaporate?

What wax would you recommend if I were to go that route?

They evaporate eventually, but probably not in 2 weeks. Most quality waxes will last 1 month+.

I have been testing S100`s durability on my mom`s Yukon and it`s going on 6 weeks strong right now.

S100, Natty`s Paste wax, Meguiar`s #16, Pinnacle Souveran, etc. are all quality carnaubas.
