First off, happy 4th of July everyone!

Now, I have 1Z Glanz wax on my wheels. It does a great job at protecting them - I`ve had it on for 2 1/2 months and they bead like crazy, and cleaning brake dust off is very easy. I`ve been thinking about picking up some P21S/S100 wheel cleaner to try it out, because I hear it`s very gentle. I`ve had some bad experience with wheel cleaners, which is why I currently use car shampoo and a soft wheel brush. Will P21S be gentle enough on my wheels that it won`t strip off the Glanz wax?

    Thanks for reading,

    -Matt

In my experience, even the mild wheel cleaners like P21S and Griot`s will degrade any LSP to some extent. You can try diluting the wheel cleaner, this will help a little. But eventually, anything that`s much stronger than regular shampoo will strip the LSP.

I have Klasse AIO and SG on my wheels and I use NXT shampoo with double the amount added to clean it and NXT is cheap, for the rest of the car it`s 1Z Perls or Sonax. With any wheel cleaner it will shorten the lifespan of your sealant!

I`ve used the Wheel Wax..with great results too..only downfall with any wheel cleaner is the brake pad dust..and that can be changed with the ceramic pads..!
