Well as the title reads I spent a good sum of money on some I items I feel will help keep my car looking good for many years to come.

    These products include:

    1. Klasse AIO (bought from autopia)

    2. Klasse SG (bought from autopia)

    3. Claymagic Claybar kit X2 (bought from autopia)

    4. Porter Cable 7424 (Coastal tools)

    5. 3 polishing pads 2 finishing pads and 1 yellow pad (Top of the line)

I also have several other things currently in my arsenal such as #16, NXT, and #7 just to name a few.

In addition to these I have WAUD, many quik detailers, many tire shine products, wheel cleaners etc..

My rsx-s is satin silver so I do not have to worry about swirls, but my dad has a 2004 black 530i with some dealer installed swirls and I want to attavk them with something thorough but not too agressive/abrasive. What do you all recomend?

What do you all think of today`s purchase?

    Thanks.

Looks like you bought all the good stuff. Did you get a backing plate with the PC?

costal tool comes with a backing plate....theres nothing in your arsenal thats very abrasive, consider adding some 83 or 82 to attack those swirls, otherwise, looks great!

Thanks! I may post some pics of the swirls in my dads 530i and ask you guys what product will be most effective. We, put nxt topped with #16 on his car last week and it looked pretty good though.

For your swirl removal, you may want to look at Menzerna Intensive Polish, einszett Paint Polish, or Meg`s #80 Speed Glaze. All will remove your swirls without having to polish further for hazing, but you may want to apply once with a yellow pad then follow up with the same product on a white pad.

I was planning on trying some of the Menzerna IP after seeing some pics on this site of Dr Jones` black civic si. Those before and after pictures were :shocked (mind blowing to say the least).

I don`t get posts like this...you`ve got a `00 Explorer with all this stereo stuff yet you don`t have $115 + $20 or so for some pads?? What gives?

#82 is also a little more aggressive than #80 and it also does not need to be followed with anything.

Lets see some pictures. That will help determine the severity of the marring.
