I live in the great Northwest were it rains a lot. I have been using Zymol HD cleanse, and Zymol wax.

The problems is, that the stuff dosen`t hold up as long as I`d like. Seems like water only beads up about a month or so.

I like how easy the stuff is to apply, just need something stronger. I think I`ll stick with HD cleanse for a prep though, it works great!

    Thanks for the help.

Meguiars #16 beads water like crazy and lasts a long time. Kind of finiky to apply though. Gotta put on a really thin coat and wipe the same spot probably 3-4 times to get it of really well though. The results are absolutely awesome though. Definately worth the work. You cant do a whole car and then buff though, gotta do a panel, then do another, then go and buff off the first, wax a third, buff the second, and so on.

I would recommend the use of pc , a swirl mark remover, and any Polymer ..

what gives me greatest longevitiy is Meg`s #83 DACP,

then I start with the polymer.. Klasse AIO, then Klasse SG..

I also use WolfGang but prefer the acryllic durability of Klasse..

sporttrk- Welcome to Autopia! Nothing wrong with the HD Cleanse, it`s a good mild paint cleaner. You`ve received two good, but very different suggestions with the Klasse twins and #16. I use both and which one you choose will have to be your call, but you won`t go wrong with either. There are a scad of other good products, but either of those will fit the bill. As you`re used to the Zymol (a natural carnauba), I think *I* would go with the #16. You won`t believe the durability and beading compared to what you`ve been using.

MY problem with Blitz is the trim-staining. If this isn`t an issue, then sure, Blitz is good. I sorta prefer how #16 beads for me, but I didn`t uses Blitz more than a few times so I`m not really all that familiar with it.

Look into the Collinite 476s. Modestly priced and the craziest beading thing out there and very durable.

Yeah, I thought about that; it`s still my fave on the Volvo. But I figured that after being used to the Zymol the 476S might not look so hot.

I have no personal experience, but I`ve heard Meg`s NXT is easy to apply and lasts a while.

Also, Zaino would probably fit your requirements, as would any long lasting sealant.
