    I just ordered my PC!!!!!

Now can I please get some help chosing a "starter" kit of pads for me to use it with.

Also, is there much difference between the LC or Megs pads?

I would like to get one brand and stick with them to ease the confusion ya know?

    I have:

    megs wash

    clay from autopia

    AIO

    #16

    Pinnacle Liquid Soveran

Sound like a good plan or should I get some DACP?

My cars do have some light swirls but I was hoping that the AIO will take care of those :nixweiss

Most kits that I`ve come across had 3 or 4 pads - cutting (1 or 2), polishing and finishing. If your car only has light swirls and you don`t intend to work on anyone else`s car then you don`t need the cutting pads. I think it`s a good idea to have both a polishing one and finising one.

You probably don`t need DACP but you may need some milder polishes like Menzerna.

Classic Motoring Accessories has their Lake Co. pads on sale this month....so stock up on polishing and finishing pads. You may need a tad bit more aggressive polish like Meg`s #9 or einszett Paint Polish and a cutting pad, just to be prepared. Nothing like having a problem and no tools to fix it!
