Using Jet Dry in rinse water

Does anyone use jet dry to distill their rinse water? If so what measurements do you use? I have a 100 gal water tank on my trailer.

Never used it but does it leave a residue that can interfere with waxing?

Jet Dry does not distill water. Distilled water is the condensate from regular water that has been boiled.

Jet Dry is a sheeting agent that breaks the surface tension of water allowing it to sheet off instead of beading up on a surface. This is not to say that you couldn`t use it in the manner you intend but any water that is allowed to dry on the car could leave a residue.

Wouldn`t it be better to just uncap the hose and let the water run down? It will sheet on it`s own without requiring the help of a sheeting agent.

Well I am concerned that I need to have non-spotting water for fleet detailing with my pressure washer since I can`t dry every car. Distilled water would be too expensive. I have found some rinse addititives on the internet. I wan to be able to wash adnn rinse the car and that be all.

I see... well, I suppose if you`re going to be using cleaner polishes/glazes before your LSP`s, residue from a sheeting agent might not be too much of a concern since you would just be removing it when you glaze. Some LSP`s like NXT, which has cleaners would probably take care of left over residue as well.

I hope someone on this forum can help you with a mix ratio for your additive.
