Ordered a 7424 from coastaltools.com yesterday. I can`t wait to get it. I read that new PC owners usually buy a set of pads. I checked out the vendors that sell it but still not sure where I should get it. I guess it wouldn`t matter where I get it. What vendor did you get your set of pads from?

I really depends on what you want to use. The 7424 that you ordered comes with a 6" backing plate

Just about everyplace sells a set of pads. You will not need a set that includes a backing plate so that will save you a bit. I got a starter set from CMA

Hey, I just ordered a Dewalt rotary from Coastal Tool. I`m supposed to have it Friday. Hey, I see you`re in Edison. If you want to check out Meg`s pads go to Pal Automotive on Stelton Road in Piscataway.

When I ordered my 7424 I ordered 2 white and a yellow from CMA to start ,.. then found I needed more white cuz of the variety of product I use. My Yellow is pretty well all for DACP.

Does the pc 7424 that coastaltools sells come with a velcro backing plate? I got a rubber plate with holes in it. Am I going to have to order a velcro backing plate from CMA? I already placed an order with them on a pad kit without the velcro backing plate

mine have been used a lot (megs 6.5" polish and finish) and I have had no problem with them coming apart or degrading in anyway. They have each done about 5 cars now and look slightly used. They have been used on rotary and PC.
