I purchased the PC at www.coastaltool.com and they include a free 6" counterweight and a 6" hook and loop backing pad. As I was inspecting it today it occured to me that this may not be the correct backing plate/pad? If it is, cool... if not, I really need to order one from a site quick. The products I ordered all came today, except the pads and MF towels and I`d like to get started this weekend.

Do I need to order a different backing plate, and if so which one?

Same thing that came with mine. Works just fine, if you look closely it`s the same one that Griots sells with their PC (link ).
